The company is a privately held plastics manufacturer of small to large aesthetic injection molded components for the automotive, medical, consumer and industrial markets. Core capabilities include injection molding, structural foam molding, gas assist and gas counter pressure molding, finishing, painting, EMI shielding, assembly, and graphics. The company has asked our team to recruit an experienced Plant Manager for their operation in the South Bend, IN area.

A qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Five (5+) plus years of experience in a Operations or Plant Manager role in a plastic injection molding operation
• Knowledge of operations, including scheduling, production, and quality systems IATF 16949:16 preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, IQMS preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement, lean or other process improvement techniques. Six Sigma green belt preferred.
• Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal, and must be able to interact with customers and employees.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, able to multi-task.
